You’ve identified that you’re “The Yo-Yo” eating behavior archetype.

Be sure to check out the detailed free guide that's on its way to your inbox (please allow a couple of minutes while it's making its transit through the interwebs). While you're waiting, here's a quick rundown:

The yo-yo is the girl that feels like she's on a never-ending diet. Once she's completed one, she's on a mission for the next one to try. It's an exhausting cycle that's led to constant frustration with her weight fluctuation and confidence.

Here are some of her strengths:

  • Can lose weight when she puts her mind to it

  • Has the ability to stay structured with eating a certain way

  • Cares about her appearance and wants to look good

Here are some of her weaknesses:

  • Created rules on foods and looks at food as good vs. bad

  • Has a hard time staying at a consistent weight

  • Has a hard time being mindful with eating

Here’s are some actionable steps towards goals and bigger visions:

  • Journal

    • Grab a journal or open the notes app on your phone and take time for yourself to look inward at the rules you've put on foods and see if they still serve a purpose for you anymore. Spend anywhere from 10-30 minutes brain-dumping all the ideas and thoughts that come to mind. You can apply this daily or weekly as needed to reflect on progress made

  • H2O

    • Drink LOTS of water; I know you hear this all the time, but this will substantially change your life if you commit to this process. Aim to get ½ of your body weight in ounces of water each day. This will help hydrate and assist with your body's energy. Consuming more water will aid in your body taking in fewer calories. #forthewin

  • Food Diary

    • Having a good baseline to move forward will aid you in reaching your goals. Try using an app like my fitness pal to log a food diary. Or get out an old-fashioned notebook and write out all your food. Tracking your food intake will help you pay attention to the daily calories. In turn, this actionable step will help you become more aware of calories in & calories out.
